This mindset comes form shaping custom surfboards for years. 99% of surfers order their boards from local shapers, so that the boards match their style and local conditions. I have always wondered why snowboard weren't ordered for the riders personal requirements?
The only thing I can put it down to is the cost!
Having years of experience shaping boards I think that a little personalisation is whats needed for the rider looking for that perfect board that doesn't live on the shelf at your snowboard retailer down the road.
The technologies of the two sports are almost identical and the requirement should be the same.

We Have a few new tools and equipment being assembled and board production will start early June 2010.
