Here is an equipment list for all introduction sessions

•                     Base layer, top and bottom

•                     Insulated jacket or fleece

•                     Waterproof/windproof outer shell, top and bottom

•                     Thin fleece or liner gloves for uphill travel

•                     Waterproof glove or mitten shell

•                     Warm hat (wool or fleece) and Baseball cap/visor, sunglasses, and sunscreen

•                     Head torch

•                     Goggles (opt.)

•                     1-2 liters of water

•                     Lunch/snacks

•                     Snowboard boots

•                     Splitboard w/ bindings*

•                     Skins*

•                     Adjustable poles*

•                     Avalanche transceiver *

•                     Shovel *

•                     Probe*

•                     Backpack*

* FirstLight will provide you with an avalanche transceiver, a shovel, a probe, and/or a backpack if you need them. FirstLight rents Splitboards, skins, and poles for $75.00 a day.  FirstLight also has additional equipment to loan on a ‘goodwill’ basis.  Other equipment is available for rent at local ski/snowboard/backcountry shops.
