Had been snowshoeing for years and was getting sick of the weight and an unbalanced board strapped to my pack. Researched a bit finding factory splitboards expensive and so contacted FirstLight. Adam was great giving me heaps of advice on set ups and options before even settling on getting him to split my board for me. Glad I did go to FirstLight as the board is great with no limitations on backcountry performance and the service was fantastic with some extras thrown in for free, great workmanship and quality product.
